ComScore: Apple beats Samsung in US, Android top OS
Just a few days ago ComScore gave some detailed breakdown of the Smartphone users for the three months period between January to April 2013. This trimester period ended in April and this applies only to the US markets where the report gave the details of performance by every manufacturer and the operating systems. From this report, the Apple manufacturer was the one leading on top with 39.2% of the US market and it was followed by the Samsung with 22.0%. Apple actually managed to beat Samsung in the race and emerged as the leading top manufacturer. However, the results did not actually include the sales of the Galaxy S4 which was the majority since it was released later on by the end of April after the coming up of some of these figures for the report.
