HTC sees big revenue increase in May, almost back to 2012 levels

The official news from HCT Company's monthly financial information about their performance in the month of May states that they are having 48% of increase in the revenue for the month of May in comparison to the month of April.

This is good news which makes the previous sign that HTC has reversed its downward spiral to be untrue. This however had not been confirmed and it made most people to believe that HTC is actually getting down to where they came from again which is not true as the company is now improving with even the many units of the HTC One that were sold not long after the end of the March launch of the flagship.

The specific figures of the growth of HTC revenue

In terms of the exact figures of growth, HTC managed revenue of $969.6 million in just one month which is the month of May this year. This was only 3.35% decrease of they did in the same month of May for last year's revenue.

You may be wondering about the decrease that the HTC Company has seen over the years and it has always been in the rumours about the decrease in revenue for the company. It was stated that HTC was actually nearing to 50% decrease in their revenue for the last year but what has been revealed currently by this monthly financial information gives a very reversal kind of information to what has always been reported about the Company concerning the decrease in the revenue for the previous months or for even for the last one year.

The total revenue that HTC made for the period of January to May this year amounted to $3.06 million. April and May realised total revenue of $1.6 million while the first quarter of the year the HTC Company realised total revenue of $1.4million.

The HTC target for the second quarter of the year

HTC is actually targeting total revenue projection of $2.3 billion for the second quarter of the year 2013. If their increase in sales holds up in the month of June then HTC actually expects to even surpass that particular target that they had to achieve for that particular period of time.
