USANA Celebrates Distributor Success in Momentous Philippine Event

Leading global developer and manufacturer of high-quality health and nutrition products USANA Health Sciences (NYSE: USNA) recently held a Filipino Leader and Distributor celebration at the Mall of Asia Arena to give recognition to the best performing distributors for the past year. According to USANA vice president for Pacific Region David Mulham, the regular event is geared towards creating "an opportunity to recognize the people that have been successful, as well as their different experiences. It's also to create an understanding for a lot of new people about what the potential is."

USANA is on its fourth year in the Philippines and now has an estimated 10,000 distributors all over the country. USANA president for Americas, Europe and South Pacific Kevin Guest noted that the business in the Philippines took off rather easily compared to other countries. "I've been to almost all of our country openings, and what was different in the Philippines than most of the other markets is that there were a lot of people just waiting for USANA to come [in]."

USANA was founded by internationally recognized microbiologist and immunologist Dr. Myron Wentz in 1992 and has since then been manufacturing high-quality supplements and personal care, energy and weight-management products.
